By-products valorisation

Sustainability and circular economy concerns govern all WEDOTECH’s activities. WEDOTECH has carried out different contracts on the valorisation of agro-food and forestry by-products, from identification and quantification of by-products from different sectors, diagnosis of losses in volume and commercial value in industries, identification of potential valorisation pathways for by-products, and integration of by-products in different industries such as the food industry, soap industry, building materials and biofiltration, prioritizing approaches and solutions according to the waste pyramid and current legislation.
